Types of Training we offer

Scheduled Group Classes
Hexagon Metrology offers hundreds of scheduled group classes each year at our nationwide network of precision centers. Group classes are offered for traditional bridge, gantry or horizontal CMMs (Brown & Sharpe, DEA, Leitz, Sheffield), and articulated arm CMMs (ROMER). Software packages taught include PC-DMIS, Quindos, DOCS, Powerinspect and Polyworks.

SPC and GD&T Classes
We offer scheduled training classes focusing on our SPC product (Datapage+) and a GD&T class focused on the real-world needs of PC-DMIS users.  Both are available through our online training schedule and store.

Onsite Training
Sometimes it just isn't possible for to get away to attend a week of training. Let the trainer come to you!
We offer our standard PC-DMIS training or other software training classes on-site at your location. Please contact the registrar at 248-449-9450 and request a quote for onsite training. Onsite training is also typical for our products such as Leica Laser Trackers and Cognitens White Light Scanning Systems, where relevant application examples are difficult to reproduce in a classroom or showroom setting. Custom Training

Training for Leica Geosystems and Cognitens products.
Due to the nature of Leica Laser Trackers and Cognitens White Light Scanning systems, and their typical applications, training classes are generally conducted at a customer site. Please call 248-449-9450 for rates and scheduling information, or to schedule a class if it was included in your quotation.

Training on Legacy Software Packages
We no longer conduct scheduled classes on "legacy" packages such as MMIV, Tutor, Chorus, MeasureMax, MaxLite, the prior verions of Datapage, and others, although we have limited capability to teach these products on a special request basis. Call the registrar at 248-449-9450 for more information.
