Class Cancellation and No-Show Policies

What if I can’t come to the class?
Our cancellation policy is that if you cancel your class with more than 5 working days notice, you will be refunded full credit or your training credit. Confirmed class registrations cancelled later than 5 full working days prior to the commencement of the seminar will be billed 50% of the course fee or ½ of your training credit. No-shows (you don’t show up, and you don’t contact us to cancel) will forfeit the training credit or the class fees.

What’s your cancellation policy?

What's your no-show policy?
Confirmed class registrants who fail to attend the seminar or call to cancel will be deemed a no-show and billed the full amount of the course or forfeit the full credit.

Does Hexagon Metrology ever cancel a class?
We make every attempt to fulfill our schedule, but we may cancel a class if there are not enough students signed up. Normally the minimum number to conduct a class is 3 students. If we cancel a class, you are entitled to full credt toward another class, and we normally try to reschedule you for another class right away.

Training Credits

Can we use our training credits for anything else?
Yes you can use them for any type of training. Credits have a value and you can apply the value towards any training class. Some advanced classes may require more than 1 credit. Please contact us at 800.426.1066 to exchange your credits.

Do training credits expire?
Yes, training credits expire after 1 year.

How do I know if I have a training credit?
Training credits are purchased as part of a new machine or an upgrade order. We keep record of all valid credits in our accounting system. Please call to find out if you have credits.

Can I register for a class on this site using training credits?
No, this site is to show the training schedule and is for credit card registrations only. If you want to register using a training credit, find the class you want to attend, and call the registrar at 800.426.1066 or use the contact form.

Can this site tell me if I have a training credit?
No. If you want to check if you have one, use the contact us form or call the registrar at 800.426.1066 and we'll check for you.

Payment by Corporate Purchase Order

Can the web store accept purchase orders?
No, the site is only for people who wish to register and pay with a credit card. If you want to use a corporate purchase order, please select your class date and location and contact the registrar at 800.426.1066.

I don’t have my Purchase Order number yet, should I still sign up?
Yes, you should call the registrar at 800.426.1066 with the class of your choice to hold your place, and you for your PO# after your register.

About the Training Class

Do we need to bring anything with us to class?
No. All materials are provided.

Is lunch included?
No, but you do have a 1 hour lunch break.

Where are the Centers? How will I know where to stay?
We will send you directions and a list of hotels with corporate discounts when you register for a class. Consult the office locations map for all locations and driving directions.

Can I bring my parts to class?
Yes, but the class schedules are very comprehensive, and we may not have the time to review customer's specific parts or issues during the class. Any review of application specific issues is on a time-available basis.

Purchasing a Class in the Online Course Catalog

If it shows a class on the site, is there room in the class?
Sometime demand for popular classes outstrips the number of available seats we can offer, mainly because we don't like to overcrowd the equipment for the lab units. If the class you want is overbooked, the registrar will contact you for options.

Do you have a waiting list?
If a class is full, the registrar maintains a waiting list and will contact you if space becomes available.

Can I still call to register for a class?
Yes, if you wish to use a training credit or a corporate PO, please call the registrar at 800.426.1066. If you want to pay by credit card, you can register self-service from this site.

What if I want to attend a class in a specific location, but no classes are shown?
Please contact our registrar at 800.426.1066. We may be able to accommodate you.

Other Questions

Can I get trained on a Legacy software package like MeasureMax, MMIV, Chorus, Tutor, etc?
We can train on certain legacy packages, subject to availability of staff. Call the registrar at 800.426.1066 for information.

Can I get training at my facility?
Yes, we offer on-site training at your facility, with your parts. Call the registrar at 800.426.1066 for information and a quote.
