ROMER, Hexagon Metrology's brand for Portable Arm CMMs, shows the ROMER INFINITE 2.0 is the latest innovation in shop floor capable portable CMMS from the leading innovator in portable CMM design and manufacture.  Starting with the innovative ROMER INFINITE as its inspiration, the engineers at ROMER rethought, redeigned, and reshaped an iconic product into a new package that incorporates new convenience features, new ergonomic  enhancements, performance improvements, and a sleek new industrial design and color scheme.  

Available in measuring ranges of 4, 6, 8, 9, 10 and 12 feet, the 4 foot arm measures to ± 0.0006” in the Volumetric Length Accuracy Test.  Major advancements include TESA Kinematic Probes, a Smaller Ergonomic Wrist Design, an innovative SpinGrip and a new Probe Holster.  A new High Accuracy version is the most accurate arm ROMER has ever made.  

7 Axis Scanning arms are also on display showcasing the latest in ScanShark probes, the V4ix (which can be interchanged from a ROMER arm and a Brown & Sharpe or DEA CMM) and the ScanShark V5, which delivers an impressive 458,000 points per second.  What can you do with all those points, you might ask?  Stop by and let the ROMER experts show you why more is better.  Also see the V5 tear through large inspection jobs with greater speed than scanners with a narrower field of view, and scan difficult parts such as chrome with surprising ease. 

ROMER's entry level Stinger IIi system will be on display, equipped for tube inspection, showing just how easy it is to inspect tubes and send corrected data back to a tube bending machine.

The new ROMER MultiGage will also make its IMTS debut.  A benchtop, ultra portable unit weighing less than 20 pounds, MultiGage can go just about anywhere you need fast, accurate, 3D inspection-- receiving inspection, at the point of production--even inside a machine tool!  MultiGage comes with the special, easy to use MultiGage software, which makes it easy to inspect many kinds of common features, including holes, slots, planes, and cylinders.  It even has a "height gage" mode!
